Just thought I would share with you all this stunning quilt top Judy has completed. It started out as a paper bag quilt, Judy selected the block and about 10 of us made her blocks using her Cheddar fabric plus scraps of our own. Judy then made many more blocks and this is the result. JUST STUNNING, well done Judy.
Just thought I would share with you all a few quilts that were made over the weekend in my latest retreat - Janelle, Erica and Barbara all choose to make a Drunken's Path quilt with finished 6" blocks, they were all looking terrific.

I found some special time today to sit behind my machine and start to piece together my 9 patch blocks from our friendship swap last year, I am very happy with the way they are looking - hopefully I can make some more time this week to continue sewing. Gosh I love Scrappy quilts, I have a few others I would love to make this year but we will see how the year pans out. Do you have a favourite scrappy quilt pattern??
Well after a very busy January my break from retreats is over, my first group for the year spent the weekend inside out of the heat, the air conditioner going all weekend and made some lovely quilt tops. Linda decided to use a kit of my new Flannel Heart Quilt which she was very pleased with. Pam used a mixture of prints teamed with a strip, a dot and a french print to make this simple but stunning throw rug. Julie made this crazy block quilt in soft pinks, creams and grey for her grand daughter - just beautiful. If you to would like to join me for a 2 day retreat contact me for further details. Stay safe and happy stitching Kerry
