You can always tell when I have been busy with lots of retreats, I just don't find time to post, I have lots of photos to share with you all of some of the projects that have been made in store over the past couple of weeks. I will try and share some over the next few days. Half of last weekends retreat group all decided to make large block Drunken Path Quilts. They all looked great and were all made in totally different fabrics. This quilt has been very popular in retreats this year, its much easier to sew then it looks.
Monique made my "OFF CENTRE" quilt design using the "WISHES" range of fabrics, these fabrics have been popular in this design over the past couple of months - your quilt looks great Judith also used the "WISHES" range of fabrics in my "1800" STARS" design - using the buttercup yellow as the background really changed the look of the quilt - well done Both of these patterns are available on my website at $10 per pattern.
Here are a few quilt designs made in retreats in the past week or so Jan's "Drunken Paths - 2 fabric quilt was looking fabulous Cathy's version of my 1800 stars quilt was also looking great using some older and some of the new French General fabrics Both quilts can be pre cut ready to be sewn if anyone would like to order one in their own choice of colours, all of the French General fabrics are on the website. priced at $20 per metre
Mid week retreat this week - here are some of the great quilt tops made Fran with a great star quilt for her grandson Noelene with her version of my "All Dressed up and No wear to go" quilt pattern Clare used fabrics from "Wishes" range by Sweetwater to make her version of Hanky Panky Great quilts ladies
Well after a very busy January my break from retreats is over, my first group for the year spent the weekend inside out of the heat, the air conditioner going all weekend and made some lovely quilt tops. Linda decided to use a kit of my new Flannel Heart Quilt which she was very pleased with. Pam used a mixture of prints teamed with a strip, a dot and a french print to make this simple but stunning throw rug. Julie made this crazy block quilt in soft pinks, creams and grey for her grand daughter - just beautiful. If you to would like to join me for a 2 day retreat contact me for further details. Stay safe and happy stitching Kerry
